Kirk
Farm,
formerly Kemp Farm, has been in the family for over one
hundred years. Until 1967 it was a dairy and chicken farm.
In 1972, we became Kirk Farm and began raising dairy replacements
and beef. This continued until 1982, when we began growing
vegetables. Today we grow seven acres of vegetables and
two greenhouses of bedding plants, selling wholesale, selling
wholesale and through our farmstand.
In
1998 we switched our operation to a healthier, natural method
of production, using no chemical fertilizers or sprays,
a practice that we continue to this day. We sell what we
grow through our C.S.A. as well as several local farmer's
markets in season.
Please
visit the farm and see how we operate.
