Kirk
Farm,
formerly Kemp Farm, has been in the family for over one hundred
years. Until 1967 it was a dairy and chicken farm. In 1972, it
became Kirk Farm and raised dairy replacements and beef. This
lasted until 1982, when we began growing vegetables. We grow twenty-five
acres of vegetables and two greenhouses of bedding plants, selling
wholesale and through our farmstand.
In 1998 we
switched our operation to a healthier, natural method of production,
using no chemical fertilizers or sprays. We grow what we sell
through our C.S.A. as well as several local farmer's markets in
season..
